Robotics for infection protection through telemedicine
In the ProteCT project, scientists are researching robot-assisted solutions for treatments from a distance. A sensitive, remote-controlled robotic arm assists in measuring vital functions such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse. Doctors can also examine the mouth and throat of their patients from a safe distance. Such telediagnostic solutions ensure the stability of the health system in crisis situations with a high incidence of infections.
